Privacy Policy
9DC.com ("9DC", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you submit a form (quote request, contact, newsletter, donation pledge, contest entry, job application or advertising inquiry) we receive the details you enter, such as name, email, phone, location and project information. We use it only to respond to you and deliver what you asked for. Form submissions are transmitted securely through a third-party form-processing service (FormSubmit) to our private inbox.
Quote requests
If you request quotes and consent, we may share your project details and contact information with up to three relevant installers or suppliers so they can contact you. We do not sell personal information to data brokers. You can ask us at any time to stop sharing your request.
Calculators
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to us, unless you choose to attach a result to a quote request.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Third-party vendors may also use cookies; you can opt out of some at aboutads.info.
Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), consent for personalised ads is collected through a certified consent message before such cookies are used. We also store a small preference in your browser for your theme and cookie choice. See the Cookie Policy.
Embedded videos
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you press play. Once loaded, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Retention
We keep form submissions only as long as needed for the purpose (generally up to 24 months; job applications up to 12 months), then delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, Québec Law 25 and India's DPDP Act), you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or object to certain processing. Use the contact form and choose "Privacy request".
Children
9DC is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above.
